Research

I am interested in plutons! All processes from magma genesis to emplacement to deformation, and all characteristics such as geochemistry, geochronology, structure, etc. My current focus is the tectonic evolution of western North America as observed through the evolution of the Mesozoic Cordilleran arc through time, and studies of the Mojave continental crust will reveal an intricate connection between structural and geochemical processes that have occurred and continue to occur in modern arc settings.
