I am currently a graduate student working with Thorsten Becker in Geodynamics at University of Southern California. 

My research now concentrates on the quantitative modeling of sub-lithospheric small-scale convection(SSC) in a self-consistent system that mantle convection generates plate tectonics, by investigating mechanisms for strain-rate localization, the role of  possibly hydrous asthenosphere in between oceanic lithosphere and the underlying mantle.
