Student Opportunities

Ph.D. Students

I am actively seeking Ph.D. students to develop dissertations centered around my research interests.

Here are some possible project titles that could serve as a starting point for interested applicants.

  • Mechanisms of iron redox cycling in anoxic, nitrogenous systems
  • Copper limitation as a serious consequence of the global increase of eutrophication and hypoxia
  • Novel approaches to characterize the interactions of transition metals with marine organic matter: metal isotope ratios and ICR-MS.
