About Me

I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. My current interests lie in quantifying lithospheric rheology and deformation processes directly from the rock record. I graduated from the University of Southern California in 2019 where I worked with Professor John Platt.

Growing up, my family took advantage of the natural beauty of the pacific northwest by spending time exploring the mountains. As a geologist, I like to think about the processes that produced and shaped the same mountains I grew up exploring. I still enjoy spending my time outdoors skiing, biking, climbing rocks, surfing, and generally seeking out adventure. Travel is another interest of mine, especially in the context of fieldwork or sport. A few destinations on my short list to travel to next are: the Dolomites (Alps), Patagonia, Hokkaido, the Ukraine, and Poland. When I get tired, I like to play board games with friends and explore on Google Earth.

Thanks for checking out my webpage and please contact me if you have any questions. I am always keen to collaborate on interesting work; see my Research Interests page for more details.
