Marshall Alan Rogers-Martinez

Michael and me

About me:
I am a former graduate student in Geophysics/Seismology at USC and enjoy long bike rides around Los Angeles and my hometown of Santa Cruz, CA.
In my free time I enjoy cycling, hiking, photography, cooking, the arts and hanging out at the beach.
Some random pictures of old stuff that's important to me.
My PhD advisor was Charlie Sammis.

My scientific/professional interests include: High speed fracture mechanics, source mechanics of near-field s-wave generation from explosive sources,
slow earthquake source mechanics, slow earthquake propagation, mechanics of composite failure, failure of bonded joints in composite structures and
structural health monitoring.

materials to aircraft structures.
